OmniSOC Year 3 Virtual Event Registration Now Open

The following event may be of interest to members of this community:

 

OmniSOC Year 3 Virtual Event registration now open

 

To celebrate OmniSOC's third year of operations and their initiative to open
OmniSOC membership to all members of the higher education and research
community, OmniSOC will conduct a three-day virtual event February 24-26,
2021. This event features content for potential new members and the larger
higher education and research community. 

Selected sessions of note include:

Cybersecurity as we emerge from the pandemic: restoring and evolving -
features OmniSOC BTAA Founding Member CIOs and hosted by Kim Milford,
Executive Director, REN-ISAC.

OmniSOC infrastructure and threat hunting: how OmniSOC stalks threats.

Leveraging OmniSOC and existing cybersecurity staff - with OmniSOC Founding
Member CISOs, hosted by Andrew Korty, CISO, Indiana University.

A SOC supporting scientific research: initial lessons and insights from the
ResearchSOC experience - with David Halstead, CIO, National Radio Astronomy
Observatory, and Susan Sons, Deputy Director, ResearchSOC.

And other panels and presentations.
