i'm planning to set up ipv6 network here and also i'm planning to install anids. i read that paper: http://www.alchemistowl.org/arrigo/Papers/SPI2003-IDS-and-IPv6.pdf so i'm asking is there a nids especially for ipv6 available? or any otherids which can properly handle ipv6 traffic?
Snort (http://www.snort.org) supports IPv6, although at what version number that support came in I'm not sure of.
