Note that the bot reports are based on statistics from Symantec's "Deep 
Sight" (or whatever they call it now) traffic log, anomaly, etc 
recording and analysis work and has nothing to do with the AV side of 
the company.

Of course, others have suggested that these stats are totally out of 
whack with what all other botnet monitoring shows, which raises the 
important question of the representativeness of Deep Sight's monitoring 
locations...
