OK, here's the comment for you.

I came across this explanation a while back, when I was debating with a 
holocaust-denier (yes, they really exist), and looking up some references. 
This led me to the whole David Irving case, and from there to the issue of 
historiography (how do we know what happened in any historical situation), 
which is interesting stuff.

In this particular area, I think it's important that antisemitic web sites
shouldn't be concealed in some murky corner of the internet, but that they
be exposed for all to see. When David Duke next runs for political office, 
it's important that his self-confessed racialism be readily available to 
the voters.

In the more general question of "Should Google twist the results of their
search algorithm so as to give more emphasis to the politically nice parts
of the web, and less to the politically nastier parts of the web - well, I
think that casting the question in that form, makes the answer obvious.
