Yes, and you'll have a heck of a time being able to hook every arbitrary app that does crypto in the appropriate spot. Grab a copy of RAM every clock tick? :)

You'd have one heck of a time hooking into every little app that does communication to monitor it; hooking into the subset that use ssl would be very little extra work.

My point was that just because it's encrypted it doesn't mean it's unreadable.
