I bet you had great fun putting that through it's paces ;-) On a more serious note though, if there is nipple recognition software, and it can tell the difference between bikini clad, and naked. Does this also extend to other sexual organs? If you remember the name of it, I'd be really interested to know about it. xyberpix On Fri Jan 20 15:15 , 'Blanchard, Michael \(InfoSec\)' <Blanchard_Michael () emc com> sent:
Yes there is image recognition software that knows what a nipple looks like and
can block that image from appearing on a users machine while letting a bikini clad image appear.
I forget the name of the software, I remember checking it out a few years ago
and it worked fairly well at that time, although some things did slip by, but it caught the majority of the norp I threw at it....

Can an OCR recognize boobies? I bet they could. ;-)Can it tell the difference between boobies and bewbies? Some comic (I forget who) described the difference between naked and nekkid: "Naked is you got no clothes on. Nekkid is you got no clothes on and are up to something..."Ol' southern joke (heard it first in Forsyth County Georgia (if you dont think its redneck, just google it) about 20 yrs ago) I guess I snafu'ed OCR: I was referring to the ability to take a picture and then look for patterns in the picture, not necessarily a "character" in the sense of an alpha-numeric one, but the sense of a character in the sense of,.. well.. like you are a character ;-) Good point though (if that was your intention) would you want it to block just the peni$ of Michelangelo's David, all of it, or none of it? I choose the latter. -JP "Quit looking at Wang" -Mrs. Wang _______________________________________________ Fun and Misc security discussion for OT posts. https://linuxbox.org/cgi-bin/mailman/listinfo/funsec Note: funsec is a public and open mailing list. _______________________________________________ Fun and Misc security discussion for OT posts. https://linuxbox.org/cgi-bin/mailman/listinfo/funsec Note: funsec is a public and open mailing list.
