Frankly, I think it was the inadvertent leak that forced early release.
There are significant security issues introduced having the leaked patch out
that probably only could be remediated by immediately releasing the official
patch.

Press is inversely proportional to testing it seems.

Every other patch needs weeks of testing, but this one doesn't.
