You're just not a fan of history are you? Ever heard of the liberty
pistol? Its an aluminum stamped, single shot pistol that we dropped
into France by the millions. It came with directions - hold close to
enemy, pull trigger, take enemy's gun. Doesn't take a rocket scientist
to figure out how effective that strategy is - but then its been
proven for THOUSANDS of years.

It didn't work for the French. We had to liberate the country.

Who's "we"? Don't get too far ahead of yourself...or your country's abilities.

The liberty pistol did exactly what it was designed to do and it DID
work - it kept the Germans busy and allowed the french underground to
build up arsenals, communicate, etc.. They weren't dropped to win the
war - they were dropped to help end the war.

What about the Warsaw Ghetto uprising??!!!? And we're talking about
SMALL numbers of people with SMALL guns (9mm pistols). What I have in
my house would look like an arsenal to those people (and your
government)!

It didn't work their either. The Germans massacred them.

After they held the Germans off for how long? What happened to the
Jews who didn't revolt and fight back?

A FREE man can defend himself. A FREE country allows its citizens the
right to make bad decisions - or the wrong decision. MY country
safeguards the tools to exercise my ability to gather with like-minded
people, and if so inclined, raise an armed revolt against it. It's not
legal to overthrow our government and the man who wrote about the
liberty tree being fed by the blood of patriots was the same man who
put down one of the first insurrection. That was Jefferson, of course.

This is OT enough - you're not going to get it, JP certainly isn't
going to understand it. I'm done.
