Does anyone know anything about the technical details of the
'Web ContExt' thingy they mentioned?

I was a little surprised that it was "state of the art": I recall when they came out
(with those programs) six or seven years ago.

Skin tones (and it doesn't seem to matter whose skin) have a mathematical
"texture" that is easily identifiable. (The analysis is similar to that which
identifies graphics that have been subject to steganography.) The early versions
of these proggies were fairly primitive: if you had more than 10% skin tone in a
picture you could assume it was either porn or baby pictures.

I assume that this is now married to some variation on face recognition, where
you can pull out "features" that distinguish naked children (more angular and
rectangular) from naked adults (smoother curves, generally). (Face recognition
works on classifications of three dimensional curves and eigenvectors.)
