I know I'm replying to myself, but do all the bank robberies EVER, total

I think Stephen is right on: the real criminals in our cyber-insecurity
are the ones who get rich while being criminally negligent by failing
to
ensure that there are proper safeguards in the systems they design,
implement, and run; but those aren't the ones who ever get prosecuted.

Now, where else, in what is causing massive international insecurity
(financial meltdown) is that also the case?

Yet Another Student Arrested For Probing

No particular comment, except that we have to find a better way to
deal
with this
type of thing: getting all too common. Kid's probably not lily-white,
but is a
felony charge the appropriate response?

(Got this from SANS Newsbites. Stephen Northcutt's commentary noted,
"I
don't
suppose arresting the person that designed the system is in the
cards?")
