One agent can do a lot to move a particular case forward, as Andy Crocker did in Russia. I think we forget about the importance of the human element sometimes. In Romania, they moved more agents in as they got closer to the bust, and they did end up arresting a lot of people there. On the other hand, you're right that the scope of the problem exceeds these resources. Another good question: even if you get arrests, what is it going to take to get convictions? Bob
I saw this, too. I have to note that the FBI sent 1 (one) agent to those 3 countries, and left the 1 (one) agent they had in Romania, there. What good can 1 (one) agent do? If the answer is "a lot and here's
what...",
then why do they have so dern many agents in big cities in the USA? If the answer is "not much", then why bother? Something else is afoot here... _______________________________________________ Fun and Misc security discussion for OT posts. https://linuxbox.org/cgi-bin/mailman/listinfo/funsec Note: funsec is a public and open mailing list.
