I have my doubts about Weev, but the Computer Fraud and Abuse Act
(CFAA) is Gestapo Legislation that is subjectively enforced and should
go away. Other victims of the CFAA include Wiseguys Tickets, who gamed
TicketMaster's broken system (TicketMaster used it despite the fact
that the inventors of CAPTCHA stated it was not a security device in
their paper).

Please provide a mainstream method to donate, such as via PayPal. I'm
not joining WePay to make a donation. I have no idea who the WePay
organization is or the data security measures.

PS: when do you think Trustwave will be prosecuted for its active
tampering of the secure channel? "Clarifying The Trustwave CA Policy
Update," http://blog.spiderlabs.com/2012/02/clarifying-the-trustwave-ca-policy-update.html.
KC just hit me offlist. Let me clarify so I don't sound like a total dick.

I donate to a lot of projects - usually $50 or $100 US. For example,
my most recent donations (in the last two or three months) were to
Tortoise Subversion and Thomas Hruska of Shining Light Productions
(Windows OpenSSL installers). Both were through PayPal and were
executed flawlessly.

When I donated to Julian Assange's defense fund, I had to jump through
a lot of hoops because of using non-mainstream payment processors. The
overseas processor meant my card issuer blocked the transaction due to
fraud alerts, and I had to call to approve the transaction. I went the
extra mile because of all the problems the US and its financial
institutions caused in the process (which were no fault of Assange's).

Then there's Eclipse, which wants you to join their organization to
make a non-anonymous donation. No shit - they wanted me to fill out an
application. Obviously, they did not get any money because I will only
go so far when trying to give money away.
