Re: Dutch Police Arrest Kournikova Author.

I hear it is a 20 year old kiddie from the town called Sneek(y)
in Friesland (50 KM east..) He got scared after (I think) he heard
of the damage caused and quickly went to the police to report
himself, with a sad story that he didn't realise what he was
doing.

Apparently that's why it was so quick. If it turns out that this child
was
idiot enough to send it off from his personal Excite mail account,
well, how stupid can it get?

It seems to be a hype here in Holland for these little stupid fucks
to commence working on destructive utilities immediately after they
discover the Word Macro editor in their Informatica classes at school.

I have yet to see the first of these kiddies walk in my door and work
on a daily production schedule doing realtime programming, and build
real
solutions to real problems instead of this.

Just like that idiot of a Dimitri, the so-called MS hacker, who got
hired
by a certain G-company: he got sacked by the way. Apparently even the
biggest companies in Holland do not have the means to differentiate
between real-timers and the rest of them.

I can only apologise for Holland to be represented this way.

Hi folks,

I figured this was appropriate for the forum here since it's not
often we see action this quickly following such an incident.

Whether they got the actual perpetrator or just some mug who
decided to brag remains to be seen...but it appears that Excite@Home
helped accelerate the investigation.

Feb. 14 - Dutch police arrested a computer hacker Wednesday who
claimed he wrote the Anna Kournikova computer virus that snarled
e-mail around the world this week, officials said.
