Sorry if it is not the right forum to dig into the topic, but I think that those "options" are not depending on the bandwith, but rather on your view on acceptable risk level. Maybe for a university student lab no logging is an acceptable option, but in commercial and government environments it isn't. And this fact depends on a long list of factors. In first shot the list does not contains the bandwidth.
