Date: Tue, 14 Sep 1999 09:52:56 -0700 Look beyond urban legends? I graduated from Heidelberg. Practically NONE of my European friends, whom are all doctors, lawyers, scientists, etc., have personal email; the very few who have work email rarely use it (perhaps one or two emails per year.) Nearly all have only one telephone handset in their house, whereas in the USA, a handset per room is normal. None have fax machines at home. Only a few have cell phones. Europeans are technophobic.
