Date: Mon, 06 Feb 2006 23:40:54 -0500 From: Robert Guerra <rguerra () lists privaterra org> To: dave () farber net Dear Dave: Could you forward this to the IP list... thanks! It would be great if one or more individuals from the IP list could submit submissions to ICANN for consideration. Despite the great discussion on and about WHOIS, there aren't really many submissions yet. Of the few that have been submitted, only 1 is Privacy "friendly", the rest are all from the intellectual property lobby! Note: The deadline is Feb 8th, so submissions need to be sent soon! regards Robert -- Preliminary Task Force Report on the Purpose of Whois and of the Whois Contacts 18 January 2006 The "Preliminary Task Force Report on the Purpose of Whois and of the Whois Contacts" has been posted for comment at <http://gnso.icann.org/issues/whois-privacy/prelim-tf-rpt-18jan06.htm> ( PDF).
