Hi Dave,

For IP if you wish.

RANT

The question I have as a Clear member is what comes of the data their organization transferred to secondary parties, for example the FBI. The notion of all my biometric and biographic data living on forever at these secondary parties despite the closure of the business ... irks me. And now that the program is DOA I cannot help but reflect that there was no benefit of providing their organization with any biometric or biographic data in the first place -- the screening was the same (e.g., had to take my shoes off too).

The only benefit was a short-cut to the front of the line. So this makes for a grand example of unnecessary collection and another "toothpaste is now out of the tube" event ... the toothpaste, in this case, my Personally Identifiable Information (PII).

Should any IP reader come across the contractual agreements between Clear and third parties whom enjoyed data exchanges, esp. the FBI, I would be keen to get a copy of such.
