Teenager hacker told Lloyd's to secure site

The 17-year-old called himself "X" when he launched his New Year's Eve attack, Hereford youth court heard. He used his own PC to break into the Lloyd's of London site and a Railtrack site, falsely warning of cancellations. He wrote on the Lloyds site: "I will put it in simple terms - secure your site." The boy pleaded guilty to breaches of the Computer Misuse Act 1990. He was conditionally discharged for 12 months and ordered to pay 65 costs.
