Issues Adding Exploit Modules

Hello! I'm trying to add exploit modules into metasploit framework
3.1. I run Debian 4.0 (Stable/Etch). I have successfully installed
ruby, the libs, etc. as well as metasploit. I am able to run the
msfconsole perfectly fine, with no issues. Here is some general
information about the server, if it helps at all:

ivy:~/framework-3.1# uname -a
Linux ivy 2.6.18-6-686 #1 SMP Fri Jun 6 22:22:11 UTC 2008 i686 GNU/Linux

ivy:~/framework-3.1# ruby1.8 -v
ruby 1.8.5 (2006-08-25) [i486-linux]

ivy:~/framework-3.1# ./msfconsole -v
Framework Version: 3.1-release

I have tried adding the module (.rb file) into
~/framework-3.1/modules/exploits/linux/misc as well as
~/.msf3/modules/exploits/linux/misc ... however everything I try,
comes to no avail. I don't see the module in metasploit and the # of
modules stays the same. Please help! :)
