it's safe to post to nanog once you've read the charter, lurked for 12 months, absorbed each individual's variation of what's ok to post and what's not.... actually, forget it, buy a book. -brett
and how to appease the nanog OAPP (operational applicability posting police). (and michael, you might also look into RFC 1878 for vlsm options and RFC 1122/23 for in-depth detail on the permutations on the appropriate values for broadcast and the subtle distinctions between all-ones and subnet-ones) --bill
