It'll be interesting to see what the corresponding drop in traffic in the root servers will be...
We expect it to be around 2000qps (or ~8% of the total traffic) for k.root-servers.net. PTR query rates are very steady and do not follow the general diurnal cycle. Regards, Wolfgang
