Two things you want to do: 1) Split this into multiple boxes if you can. That makes maintaining one component a lot easier, especially when you get to point 2, which is... 2) Redundancy/failover. Sure, it may be more expensive, but the first time your HA failover changes a 2AM "Holy Crap" into an "Oh, bother" it will be worth the price of admission....
