This seems to indicate that it will be 4-6 months until things get back to normal, if there indeed is a huge effort to do so.

Trump should also ask Congress to pass a relief package for Puerto Rico to give FEMA and the island more money to rebuild. He could deploy more military resources to help with search and rescue operations."

I hope this happens.
