neither if it is openbsd 2.5 specific or older versions are affected...

Um, isn't that what DLT_LOOP is for? The maintainer of nmap adds patch for
a DLT_LOOP case, which then falls through to DLT_NUll (offset 4). Works from
here, on 2.6-release.
