As a start, displaying the value of the TTL field for returning probes would be nice.
Well, yes, that would be useful. The other day I was explaining to a guy that in some dnat scenarios the "OS SCAN" feature could show different results when different port-sets are scanned.... something along those lines could be nice. Regarding traceroute functionality, a "add these hops to target list and scan them" switch could be nice, too. - -- Arturo "Buanzo" Busleiman - VPN Mail Project - http://vpnmail.buanzo.com.ar Consultor en Seguridad Informatica - http://www.buanzo.com.ar My Linux and Security Blog at http://linux-consulting.buanzo.com.ar/ Romper un sistema de seguridad los acerca tanto a ser hackers como encender autos puenteando los convierte en ingenieros automotrices. -----BEGIN PGP SIGNATURE----- Version: GnuPG v1.4.2.2 (GNU/Linux) Comment: Using GnuPG with Thunderbird - http://enigmail.mozdev.org iD8DBQFETW8ZAlpOsGhXcE0RAgs8AJ4lpCGALgLFQXAEuu1NnKObgluRkQCfc+Nw 0QGBUm2ahXhAn9DztzCpRWw= =/jJb -----END PGP SIGNATURE----- _______________________________________________ Sent through the nmap-dev mailing list http://cgi.insecure.org/mailman/listinfo/nmap-dev
