Hey all,

I am apparently doing a NSE demo in a couple weeks -- I don't have the final scheduling information, but I'll post
here when I do.

It's a 3-hour demo, centered around NSE scripts. I'm also hoping to show off Zenmap and, if kirubakaran has something
working by then, the new Zenmap script gui.

So basically, my question is: what are the coolest NSE scripts to show off? I'm definitely going to pull out the SMB
scripts, and the other ones I've written, but which others are the "best" for demos?

My bet:
  - [something new] ipidseq.nse, as "This is the first script to use the
new raw IP sending functionality in NSE"
  - [something cool] qscan.nse, as this script was exclusively born from
the Nmap dev/contributors thoughts, discussions and coding (I mean : not
just a fork/Nmap version of something already existing elsewhere or
widely spread among other security products). Plus, it's really cool :)
  - [something old] ftp-anon.nse, as this was one of the very first
scripts shipped with the NSE and this illustrate the fact that despite
their age, scripts are always reviewed by the community and updated.
Plus, we spent a lot of time working on it on this list (winks again)
  - [something borrowed] ...your idea, the SMB-related scripts. No,
seriously, they show something very important : the Nmap community's
ability to rise to the challenge every time a major vulnerability appears.
  - [something blue] ...script attached (hu. Their's a joke here, I
don't know if it works in every culture so don't pay attention...)

A.G.
