Cuz it's be fun to "nmap iraq" :)I think it might be better to try and integrate a goip source int a script. this way for normal scripts it can simply give the location of the ip address you are scanning. this could also be use to theoretically scan all ip's in a country allthough im not sure how many people would use that part of the function though. would be good if the geoip information was in a db like sqllite. mm sqllight for nse now that starts to open up some possibilities
mak started writing a sqlite implementation for lua, but I don't think it ever happened. I told him I'd give him a cookie when he finishes, though, and the offer stands. :) Seriously, though, how bad would flat files be? I don't really know the size we're working with..
