How to integrate lua-openssl to nmap?

Hi, I notice theres a lua-openssl (
https://zhaozg.github.io/lua-openssl/topics/README.md.html) library that
would be very useful to me, and assume would be useful to the larger
community. I've tried to integrate it to NSE but haven't had much success
getting it to work. Is this something the nmap devs would be interested in
integrating as part of the core nse libraries?
