My local Infragard Chapter has been a let down been getting more out of the local HTCIA and ISSA chapters. 2009/2/19 iamnowonmai <iamnowonmai at gmail.com>
Hey Irongeek - Also a member and I find it valuable. My chapter tends to be less tech-savvy than some, and kind of an old-boys network, but still it is a good chance to make connections. Especially in this economy :) iamnowonmai 2009/2/19 Kevin Shortt <kevin.shortt at gmail.com>I do. I am a current member.* *I find it worthwhile. No notable time commitment or cost is required. It's a good networking venue, and provides you opportunities to connect with the local FBI offices, as well as some decent training opportunities. Mileage may vary dependent upon chapter leadership and the commitment to engage the community. I have found it very worthwhile. If you have any specific questions, I will be happy take a conversation off line. -Kevin -- *From:* pauldotcom-bounces at pdc-mail.pauldotcom.com [mailto: pauldotcom-bounces at pdc-mail.pauldotcom.com] *On Behalf Of *Adrian Crenshaw *Sent:* Thursday, February 19, 2009 11:46 AM *To:* PaulDotCom Security Weekly Mailing List *Subject:* [Pauldotcom] Infragard Does anyone here have any dealing with Infragard? http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Infragard I was thinking of joining a local chapter, and the only sources of bad information on them I could find were from wingnuts.
