-----BEGIN PGP SIGNED MESSAGE----- Hash: SHA1 I installed kismet new core in a VM and I'm trying to use it with an ALFA USB (RT8187) wifi adapter. I was successful using this with kismet stable on a standard laptop (non-vm) running Linux. according to iwconfig, the adapter is being recognized as wlan1 and it works properly with aerodump-ng and using airmon-ng I was able to place the adapter in monitor mode. So the question. What is the kismet newcore config I need to specify this adapter as the source. I have tried: ncsource=wlan1 ncsource=wlan1:type=rt8180 ncsource=wlan1:name=ALFA,type=rt8180 I always get... Failed to add source 'xxxxxxx', check your syntax and remember Kismet recently changed how it handles source definitions! Am I missing something? -----BEGIN PGP SIGNATURE----- Version: GnuPG v2.0.10 (Darwin) iEYEARECAAYFAkm9wqgACgkQQ6AO1gGiGi0LigCeIIZfOIBnWA/aOpdiDM9vjpUH muQAn0gRZoTWLlr56Y4JCEAUfThqOpBP =tnSz -----END PGP SIGNATURE-----
