For a good overview of writing Sparc assembly code, check out Chris Drake and Kimberly Brown's book _Panic! Unix System Crash Dump Analysis_. (Yeah, so it ain't exactly a paper, but it sure is helpful.) --Brian <reillyb () georgetown edu>
