Hi there: All you need to do is boot with "damn vulnerable linux livecd" in each server. When you want to recover the initial state, only reboot the server and the livecd will remove all change made by the users. I hope it will be useful Augusto Pereyra On Tue, Jan 13, 2009 at 7:37 PM, Javier Perez <disco299 () gmail com> wrote:
Hi pentesters I have some old computers (pentium 3) in my basement and I wanna use them as training servers, not just for me but also for my friends. I've been thinking in DVL (damn vulnerable linux), although any other option is welcome. In any way, they're intent to be some kind easy to root and I don't want to reinstall them every short time manually, so the question is: Is there any software/script/methodology that you recommend me to restore their full environment every night? Thanks in advance and excuse my poor english.
