Do a search on the archives of this list, as well as the Full
Disclosure & PaulDotCom lists, there has been much discussion of these
courses in the past.

There is a contact form on the Offensive Security site here:
http://www.offensive-security.com/contact.php

The requirements for taking the CEH are on EC-Council's site:
http://www.eccouncil.org/ceh.htm, I believe they are in the program
brochure.

Hi all,

I am really interested in hacking. I know I can learn on my own but I would
like to have a course guiding me properly rather than wandering here and
there for some stupid material.

I think C|EH is great but the OSCP is way better (I prefer being practical).
I went through the websites of both and as far as I have understood, CEH is
only for the professionals working in organizations. Since I am just an
undergraduate student as of now, I think i will not be allowed by EC
Council.

OSCP looks so much more interesting, challenging and I want to take that
one. Does someone know about any such requirememnt as put out by EC Council
for the CEH (that I must be a professional) ? I want to build a career in
cyber security.

I did not see that there is any email address provided on the OSCP website.
Can some one here tell me how to contact them so tha I could ask them about
this?

reagrds,

VK

Prove to peers and potential employers without a doubt that you can actually
do a proper penetration test. IACRB CPT and CEPT certs require a full
practical examination in order to become certified.
