Has anybody already done similar work in order to use Snort and Demarc under Dan Bernstein's Daemontools?Easy and works like a charm....ooops, I forgot about Demarc and I haven't used that one.
Ok..I found it[1]. According to the DEMARC Client documentation it should run backgrounded but you achieve that through the shell (ie demarc_c.pl&). This makes it easy for us to adapt it to daemontools. Edit /service/demarc_client/run according to: #! /bin/sh exec demarc_c.pl Jörgen [1] http://www.demarc.org/ _______________________________________________ Snort-users mailing list Snort-users () lists sourceforge net Go to this URL to change user options or unsubscribe: http://lists.sourceforge.net/lists/listinfo/snort-users Snort-users list archive: http://www.geocrawler.com/redir-sf.php3?list=snort-users
