Sql syntax error logging to mysql

I am getting something like this every so often. database: mysql_error: You have an error in your SQL syntax near '')' at line 1 SQL=INSERT INTO data (sid,cid,data_payload) VALUES ('1','164013','00000000000000 0000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000 0000 0000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000 0000 0000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000 0000 0000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000 0000 000000000000000000000000000000000')') I trimmed the data_payload field a little and set all the values to 0 incase there is something sensitive in the data but you can still see the error the ')') at the end of the line. I am not familiar enough with the data model to work out what which signature is triggering this.
