I would like to know why the "-A fast" that is use to start snort fails to load log and or alerts to the mysql database? This works: daemon /usr/sbin/snort -b -l /var/log/snort -d -D \ -i $INTERFACE -c /etc/snort/snort.conf This does not work: daemon /usr/sbin/snort -A fast -b -l /var/log/snort -d -D \ -i $INTERFACE -c /etc/snort/snort.conf Thank you, -- Daniel Curry PGP AD5A 96DC 7556 A020 B8E7 0E4D 5D5E 9BA5 C83E 8C92
