Howdy,

The ebuilds for snort-2.9.1 and daq-0.6.1 have been committed to portage.

Snort-2.9.1
----------------
Marked ~x86 and ~amd64.

Important:
* A new init.d script and conf.d file are included. You will need to
upgrade both with etc-update.
* You will also need to migrate your current snort.conf to the new one
included with this update.
Many of the command line options we previously handled in the
conf.d file are now included in the snort.conf file that ships with
snort.
As such, they have been removed from the conf.d file and are
expected to be defined in the config file. This was done to simplify
the init script and to support a planned future change that will
provide native init.d support for running multiple snort instances.

* ipv6 support is now compiled in by default. I know this violates the
standard Gentoo way of doing things but now that the config file uses
ipvar and portvar (which are only fully supported if ipv6 is compiled
into snort) this seemed the right thing to do.

Known Issue:
The current package fails to build with USE=static. A bug has been
opened for this.

DAQ-0.6.1
---------------
Marked ~x86 and ~amd64.

Important:
The DAQ ebuild now supports NFQ and IPQ.

Known Issue:
The current package fails to build with USE=static. A bug has been
opened for this as well.

thx,
Wally
