I don't think we'll put it in the manual. I have a different thought about how to handle the FAQ. Let me work through
some big changes here in Q1 and we'll see where we get.

Not sure where it should go, but glad to see it might show up in the manual.

Perhaps that and barnyard2, if it's not already there.

In the FAQ? It's in the setup information. We might just put it in the
manual. That would help I would think.

Good idea, let me go mention that to Joel now ;-)

I noticed the tweets today that tell users that they *should* be using
pulledpork. I agree with this and I use pulledpork. I can't imagine
running snort without pulledpork.

However, there seems to be a lack of communication about the *need* to
use pulledpork, as in "you shouldn't attempt to run snort without
pulledpork" from the official documentation.

Looking for something like this I found:
* The Snort twitter feed tells you that you need it (today)
* There a few recommendations to use pulledpork on the Snort blog.
* The Snort FAQ makes NO mention of pulledpork.
* The snort-users mailing archives document lots of issues encountered
with pulledpork.

Might it be a good idea to at least include it in the snort faq?
