The ideas of boundary filtering within applications may be old, but the _term_ doesn't seem that common, at least not when it comes to how it is used by the OWASP Filters project. Alex, where did you get the term from?
Odds are pretty high that the term comes from something I'd read about in another security discipline, but it's been so long that I really can't remember it's origin. Regardless of where it came from, I'm glad it's useful. - -- Alex Russell alex () netWindows org alex () SecurePipe com -----BEGIN PGP SIGNATURE----- Version: GnuPG v1.0.7 (GNU/Linux) iD8DBQE+SDnJoV0dQ6uSmkYRAn7FAKDB4ozP5gJBWUqqh65TPikyz6FhCgCgtj2B WOWtm5jwbDz0MnNnXCP8Sx0= =H9nw -----END PGP SIGNATURE-----
