Question for Wireshark

Hello Wireshark, my name is Stephanie Onyeka, I am a student at Liberty University, and I am currently taking an online 
course that requires your product to complete assignments. An issue that has happened with both my old and new computer 
is that although Wireshark will give me a list of interfaces, no packets will load when I click capture. I tried to 
type tcpdump in the filter box, but it would just come up red. Finding interface details and connecting to my LAN, is 
what my assignment says to do but I don't see these options in the application. I deleted the old version and 
downloaded your new version 3.4.4, I'm not sure what to do? What pops up when I start the application is below.
