Hey Louie, Batch scripting is perfect for this. If you have the location of the registry keys and what they need to be changed to, I can help you get one running. It involves using the DOS shell command regedit.exe. You can pass various arguments into this to add, subtract, and append registry keys (entries). Let me know if you have that and we'll get rolling. -Mike -----Original Message----- From: Louie [mailto:tech.louie () verizon net] Sent: Sunday, October 10, 2004 7:00 AM To: 'Yvan Boily'; 'Guillaume Lavoix'; 'Ferland' Cc: security-basics () securityfocus com Subject: Tutorial on writing to Registery Hello there, I was wondering does anyone in here know where I could find out how to run a batch file to write to the registry? I'm asking because for security issues that we have to upgrade for a couple of machines. I just want the batch file to run rather then going manual into the registry. Thank you
