There seems to be some problem with following my exploit. I don't know if I'm running different patch versions or what
Do you have patch 1096 installed on the system you're able to exploit? versions | grep 1096 According to ftp://sgigate.sgi.com/security/19960101-03-P patch 1096 fixes a number of security vulnerabilities in the object server/cadmin subsystem. I'm unable to reproduce this exploit with patch 1096 installed: even when I mounted an NFS filesystem and put it in /etc/fstab the filesystem (mounted as /mnt) didn't show up in the shared resources box. -- Bill Nickless nickless () mcs anl gov +1 630 252 7390 PGP 2.6.2 Key fingerprint = 0E 0F 16 80 C5 B1 69 52 E1 44 1A A5 0E 1B 74 F7 http://www.mcs.anl.gov/people/nickless
