some more info: tried 'nuke' from a unix box (perl nuke, SunOS 5.5, perl5.003) ==> the NT box resisted. tried again from my win95 machine ==> blue screen, reboot needed STOP: 0x000000A ( ... ) IRQL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL address fdb69662 has base at fdb58000 - tcpip.sys etc... Ervin
