When we first rolled out Duo, we did it during October to align with Cybersecurity Awareness Month. This allowed us to host in person tables on various days in different buildings across campus with laptops set up to help folks enroll their device(s) in Duo. It also gave us ample time to advertise the change when students, faculty, & staff were all on campus prior to October. All in all I think it worked out very well. We handed out Duo themed shirts in our school colors to anyone that enrolled or could show us on the mobile device that they had enrolled. The largest event is where we sponsored a campus weekly event called Dr Pepper Hour & I got Bruiser Bear (costumed mascot) to wear one of the shirts & clown around for the hour to get students to come enroll in Duo at our table. Probably more information than you wanted, but it was a fairly successful campaign with good timing because students were going to need Duo to register for Spring semester classes right afterward & Faculty/Staff needed it to access their W2 forms for tax time. Summer? Winter or Spring break? When classes were in session? And would you keep that choice if given a do-over?
