Re: [EXTERNAL][SECURITY] Duo enforcement for students

We started the communication in February and was planning to go live on April 2nd but delayed it until Mid May (after
the semester).

I would not recommend doing it off semester. Also avoid beginning, end, or spring break. It needs to happen when the
largest number of students can get their accounts activated. You may have trouble fielding the call volume (in the
fall) if you do it over the summer.

Subject: [EXTERNAL][SECURITY] Duo enforcement for students

For those institutions that require Duo or some other multi-factor auth for students, how did you time the enforcement
in terms of the academic calendar? Summer? Winter or Spring break? When classes were in session? And would you keep
that choice if given a do-over?

Thank you!
