This entire debacle is about _who_is_targeted_ in the snooping.

When the _foreign_ intelligence community turns its attention
inwardly on it's own people, nothing good can come of it, insofar
as personal privacy issues are concerned.

The new news is old news, as it always is. For that matter, the EFF
knew about this week's headlines so long ago they've already got a
lawsuit going on the matter. Wasn't it you, even, that posted a link
to that under-reported story?
