Works fine on my side... -----Original Message----- From: Dr. Neal Krawetz [mailto:hf () hackerfactor com] Sent: Saturday, June 17, 2006 10:14 PM To: privacy () whitestar linuxbox org Subject: [privacy] Google Cache gone? Hi, Has anyone else noticed that Google's cache is no longer an option in the search results? Also, if you search for a domain you normally get a choice between searching for pages from the domain, links to the domain, the actual quoted term, or viewing the Google cache for the domain. If you click on viewing the Google cache, you get back a blank page. I first noticed the cache being disabled a few days ago. Anyone know why it was turned off? (I'm assuming due to privacy and copyright issues -- that's why I'm posting this the privacy list.) I can find no discussion of this on the Google Blog or other forums. -Neal -- Neal Krawetz, Ph.D. Hacker Factor Solutions http://www.hackerfactor.com/ Author of "Introduction to Network Security" (Charles River Media, 2006) http://www.charlesriver.com/Books/BookDetail.aspx?productID=126130 _______________________________________________ privacy mailing list privacy () whitestar linuxbox org http://www.whitestar.linuxbox.org/mailman/listinfo/privacy _______________________________________________ privacy mailing list privacy () whitestar linuxbox org http://www.whitestar.linuxbox.org/mailman/listinfo/privacy
