I really don't understand this. They've been doing this sort of thing
for DECADES. How do you think they froze bin Laden's funds? How do you
think they seize these drug dealer's money in Switzerland?

Holy crap! Everyone jumps on this OLD news as if its new and something
to be completely aghast over... maybe it is, but you should have been
on that bandwagon 30 years ago when it started. One HAS to believe the
venom shown is politically motivated, and therefore its easily
ignored.

Its not the fact that they are doing it that bugs me, its the fact
that they dont even have the decency to lie to us anymore.

Thats all I ask. I just want to at least think we are the good guys,
so GWB, if you are listening. Deny the reports about the NSA wiretaps,
Plant some WMD's in Iraq then "find" them, and Deny this financial
data mining shebang as well. This way I can lie to myself about how
great our \government is and say "wow we are soo much better than
those other countries". Dont worry about getting sued, Clinton already
proved that its not illegal to lie to congress or the people

Good idea, let's close down the freedom of the press because they told
everyone that SWIFT exists, and that they store data on bank transfers,
and that any sensible person trying to track money transfers would use
that data.

Next, let's close down any newspaper that mentions the fact that Iraq was
invaded in 2003 and that we still have soldiers there.
