It is typical when confronted with facts that a Bush apologist makes a

Did the "attack" cause your lack of interest on this subject for an
entire week? For what its worth I don't see where I said anything
about you personally. However, if you believe declaring such furthers
your argument, I'll allow that you might actually be that sensitive.

However another fact
you might not like is that the Bush administration has made the greatest
expansion of executive power in history and has created a constitutional
crisis the likes of which have never been seen.

Really? What did Lincoln do then - I mean, is bush a hurricane and
Lincoln just a tropical depression in your view? Odd view, but I'm
curious....

The very fact that this
administration has set precedent negates the argument that it is status quo.

What administration hasn't set precedent? Gee, the Supreme Court sets
precedent with virtually every ruling. That is the status quo, though
I hadn't ever made that argument. The camel's nose has been in the
tent for a very long time and I find it highly disingenuous for folks
to cry so loud about Bush when you never heard a whimper from those
same folks during - for instance - Clinton.

I am not saying the Democratic party is innocent not corrupt or not
complicit.

That's a relief. I guess I won't be able to personally attack you for
being a democrat apologist then, which is surely a more severe attack
than saying you made a naive statement in the original e-mail.
