More backstory on this - I asked my brother (who is in the Boston area)
about this - is it "Here's a GPS cellphone so if you don't make it to your
next scheduled stop we know where to send help" or "Here's a GPS cellphone
because we suspect you're nipping out to Sharkey's for a pitcher of something".
And he said it's common knowledge that it's the latter - they had a bit
of a stink a while ago about snowplow drivers abusing the overtime system.
